Description

PRIMECAREKID indicates whether the female respondent is a primary caregiver for any children, regardless of age.

The related variable PRIMECAREANYLT18 indicates whether the woman is the primary caregiver for any children under age 18, regardless of whether they are her own biological children. The related variable PRIMECAREKIDLT18 indicates whether the woman is a primary caregiver for any children under age 18 who are not her own children.
