Description
VACBCGMOHFR reports the calendar month that the child received their BCG vaccination as recorded on health facility records. These data were gathered by the field supervisor who visited the health facility to collect relevant vaccination records. Information was obtained from the health facility to complement the vaccination information based on the child's mother's recall.
The complementary variables VACBCGDAYHFR and VACBCGYRHFR report the day of the month and year of the BCG vaccination, as recorded on health facility records.
To identify the month when all young children received the BCG vaccination, not just those with vaccination records obtained from a health facility, see VACBCGMO (H2M).
