Description

GEOALT_GT2015 (SDEPTO_GT2015) indicates the region of Guatemala where the respondent was interviewed. DHS regions in the 2015 Guatemala survey are equivalent to departments.

Other samples have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are other integrated variables that provide spatially consistent regions over time. These include geo_gt1987_2015.
