Description

GEO_TZ2022 (V101_TZ2022) reports the region of Tanzania where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2022 Tanzania survey are equivalent to regions.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. The integrated variables GEO_TZ1991_2022 and GEO_TZ1996_2022 provide spatially consistent units for Tanzania over time.
