Description

IHGISTG2010POPG2 is a geographic crosswalk variable that enables users to link DHS sample clusters to corresponding geography from census tabulations in the IHGIS database from Togo 2010. The complementary variable IHGISTG2010POPG2P reports the probability that a DHS sample cluster was placed in the correct IHGIS census geographic unit in IPUMS IHGIS.

Users can attach aggregate population census data from IHGIS to the units in IHGISTG2010POPG2 and attach those measures to IPUMS DHS individuals or households as contextual information for microdata analysis.
