Comparability

Apart from universe differences and slight differences in question wording, AIDANTALKPREV (V838B) largely has no comparability problems. Attention should be paid to question wording across survey phases V and beyond, where the question wording changes from "did anyone talk to you about..." to "were you given any information about..." See Standard DHS Comparability section.

AIDANTALKPREV (V838B) first appears in phase V of the Standard DHS using the question wording, "During any of the antenatal visits for your last birth, did anyone talk to you about: Things that you can do to prevent getting the AIDS virus?"
