Description

ANCAREDELOC_ALL indicates whether the woman was advised to deliver her baby at a hospital or clinic at least once during antenatal care.

ANCAREDELOC_ALL consists of separate variables, covering the most recent birth (ANCAREDELOC_01) and, in some cases, additional births, potentially up to the sixth-most-recent birth (i.e., ANCAREDELOC_02, ANCAREDELOC_03, ANCAREDELOC_04, ANCAREDELOC_05, and ANCAREDELOC_06). For most surveys, this information was collected for only the most recent birth; exceptions are noted in the comparability section.

Comparability

Apart from universe differences and slight differences in question wording, ANCAREDELOC_ALL is largely comparable across samples.

Comparability - Standard DHS

ANCAREDELOC_ALL is a country-specific variable, and it is not included in the standard DHS women's questionnaire.
