- Burundi 1987: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey and received any antenatal care.
- Jordan 1990: Ever-married women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey and who saw a doctor, nurse, or midwife for antenatal care.
- Morocco 2003: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey and received any antenatal care.
- South Africa 1998: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey and received any antenatal care.
- Tunisia 1988: Ever-married women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey and received any antenatal care.
