Description

BHCATTHW indicates whether the woman reported "attitude of health workers" as a barrier to getting medical care for herself.

Comparability

BHCATTHW has no comparability problems. To maximize consistency with similar variables, IPUMS-DHS uses composite coding for this variable, with "Not a big problem" responses having a first digit of "1" and "Big Problem" having a first digit of "2."
