The 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016 Senegal surveys first ask, "Who most frequently facilitates (NAME)'s learning activities?" This is followed by the open-ended question, "What are these learning activities?" A response of "yes, no one" in CDREADNONE indicates the respondent did not report telling stories as a learning activity.
Comparability — Togo [top]
The 2013 Togo survey asked whether anyone told stories to the child. A response of "no" to that question was recoded as "1--Yes, no one (told stories to child)" for CDSTORYNONE.
