Description
For children under age 5, DELHMOTH (M65X) indicates whether the child was not delivered in a health facility for some "other" reason than those specified in a given survey. The interviewer recorded all reasons mentioned.
Comparability
Along with universe differences, the meaning of DELHMOTH_01 (M65X) is contextual, depending on the specific responses identified for a given survey. For example, in some samples, write-in responses about lack of time to reach a health facility were incorporated into a distinct variable (DELHMNOTIM); in other samples, that rationale was implicitly incorporated in this general "other reasons" variable.
