Description
DELTRANMOTHER_ALL indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the female respondent reported that the woman's own mother arranged transportation to take her to the health facility for the child's delivery.
DELTRANMOTHER_ALL consists of a set of up to six separate variables, covering the most recent birth (DELTRANMOTHER_01) up to the sixth-most-recent birth (i.e., DELTRANMOTHER_02, DELTRANMOTHER_03, DELTRANMOTHER_04, DELTRANMOTHER_05, and DELTRANMOTHER_06) during the reference period prior to the survey. If DELTRANMOTHER_ALL is included in a data extract, all these separate variables are included in a researcher's data file.
Universe
- India 2019: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey, delivered the last-born child in a health facility, and did not travel on foot to the health facility.
