Description
DELTRANREL_ALL indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the female respondent reported that the woman's friends or relatives arranged transportation to take the woman to the health facility for the child's delivery.
DELTRANREL_ALL consists of a set of up to six separate variables, covering the most recent birth (DELTRANREL_01) up to the sixth-most-recent birth (i.e., DELTRANREL_02, DELTRANREL_03, DELTRANREL_04, DELTRANREL_05, and DELTRANREL_06) during the reference period prior to the survey. If DELTRANREL_ALL is included in a data extract, all these separate variables are included in a researcher's data file.
Universe
- India 2019: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey, delivered the last-born child in a health facility, and did not travel on foot to the health facility.
