Description

DELUMBTRANTIS_ALL indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the respondent reported that some other antiseptic (e.g., alcohol, spirit, gentian violet) was applied to the stump of her child's umbilical cord.

DELUMBTRANTIS_ALL consists of a set of five separate variables, covering the most recent birth (DELUMBTRANTIS_01) up to the fifth-most-recent birth (i.e., DELUMBTRANTIS_02, DELUMBTRANTIS_03, DELUMBTRANTIS_04, and DELUMBTRANTIS_05) during the reference period prior to the survey. If DELUMBTRANTIS_ALL is included in a data extract, all these separate variables are included in a researcher's data file.

Some surveys, specified in the Comparability section, collected this information for the last-born child only (DELUMBTRANTIS_01).
