For women who were randomly selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, DVEMALAW indicates whether they were ever insulted, humiliated, or otherwise emotionally hurt by their mother-in-law since age 15.
Universe
- Zimbabwe 2005: Women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have not experienced physical violence from someone other than a husband/partner since age 15.
