Description

Based on a four-part question, FCFLESH2 indicates whether the woman experienced a circumcision procedure involving excision, or partial/total removal of the clitoris and labia minora/majora. This question is included in addition to the standard DHS questions inquiring about the woman's circumcision. See FCTYPANG, FCTYPGISH, and FCINFIB2 for the supplementary components of the four-part question.

FCFLESH2 is a country-specific variable and is included in neither the standard DHS questionnaire nor in any version of the standard DHS module on female circumcision.
