Description

GEO_CM2004 (V101_CM2004) indicates the region of Cameroon where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2004 Cameroon survey are equivalent to provinces, with two cities, Douala and Yaoundé, remaining autonomous regions.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are also integrated variables, GEO_CM1991_2018 and GEO_CM2004_2018, that provide spatially consistent units over time.
