Description

GEO_DR2002_2007 indicates the region of the Dominican Republic where the respondent was interviewed. The variable is integrated to yield units with consistent boundaries across samples.

Labels identify the modern geographic units (provinces) contained in each integrated region. Each sample also has its own non-integrated geography variable. The variable GEO_DR1986_1999 reports eight regions of the country with different boundaries from 1986 to 1999.
