Description

GEO_GN2018 (V101_GN2018) reports the region of Guinea where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2018 Guinea survey are equivalent to regions.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are also integrated variables, GEO_GN1999_2018, GEO_GN2005_2018, and GEOALT_GN1999_2012, that provide spatially consistent units over time.

GEO_GN2018 (V101_GN2018) is a country- and sample-specific variable and has no comparability issues.
