Description

GEO_MA2003 (V101_ MA2003) indicates the region of Morocco where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2003 Morocco survey are equivalent to administrative regions.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There is an integrated variable, GEO_MA1987_2003, that provides spatially consistent units over time.

Comparability

Oued-Eddahab-Lagouira in the southern region is excluded from the 2003 survey.
