HCMCI2 indicates whether the woman reported a public health post as a source for male condoms. This response category is country-specific to Cote d'Ivoire.

Some samples in the "HCM" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

HCMCI2 is combined with HCMCI1 (public health center) in HCMPUBHC (public health centers and health posts) for the 1998 Cote d'Ivoire sample. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using HCMCI2 are encouraged to review HCMPUBHC for a more comprehensive response category.
