IHGISMW2018POPG1 is a geographic crosswalk variable that enables users to link DHS sample clusters to corresponding geography from census tabulations in the IHGIS database from Malawi 2018. The complementary variable IHGISMW2018POPG1P reports the probability that a DHS sample cluster was placed in the correct IHGIS census geographic unit in IPUMS IHGIS.
