Description

MLPREIPTP indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the woman reported intermittent preventive treatment during pregnancy (IPTP) as a way to avoid malaria.

Beginning in 2010, WHO has recommended that pregnant women should receive one dose of SP/Fansidar at each antenatal care visit after the first trimester, with at least one month between doses, to prevent malaria.
