Description
RADIODAY (V111) indicates whether the woman usually listens to the radio every day.
Comparability
Apart from universe differences and minor variation in question wording, RADIODAY (V111) is largely comparable across samples. The majority of samples ask the respondent, "Do you listen to the radio every day?" However, some surveys determine this by asking about how many hours per day the woman listens to the radio or how many times per week. Samples with potentially significant variation in question wording are noted below.
Comparability - Standard DHS
RADIODAY (V111) first appears in the standard DHS questionnaire in phase I. It is removed from the survey beginning in phase IV.
