Description

STIOTHER indicates whether the respondent reported some "other" possible symptom as a sign of an STI (sexually transmitted infection). The meaning of "other" must be interpreted relative to the specific response categories included in a particular sample.

The related variables STIMOTHER (V785X) and STIWOTHER (V78CX) indicate whether the respondent reported some "other" possible symptoms of STIs in men and women, respectively.
