SXPRESYNGKID indicates whether any young children (under age 3) were present when the interviewer asked survey questions regarding the woman's sexual experience. This variable relates to the interviewer's observation and is not asked of the woman respondent directly.
SXPRESYNGKID has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
SXPRESYNGKID is a country-specific variable, but it is part of a series of variables about the presence of other people during the sexual activity section of the survey, in the standard DHS questionnaire from Phase VI forward.
