Description
TETNUS3YR reports the year that the female respondent received her third tetanus toxoid immunization.
The complementary variables TETNUS3DAY and TETNUS3MO report the day of the month and the month of the female respondent's third tetanus toxoid immunization, as recorded on a vaccination card shown to the interviewer.
Comparability
TETNUS3YR has no comparability problems.
While all samples in TETNUS3YR use the Gregorian calendar, certain countries use country-specific calendars. These countries (noted below) are excluded from TETNUS3YR but are included in country-specific variables.

TETNUS3YR is a country-specific variable, and it is not included in any phase of the standard DHS questionnaire.
Universe
- Bangladesh 2000: Ever-married women age 10-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey, who received at least three tetanus injections and whose third tetanus injection date was on their tetanus injection card.
