TOKRETEK indicates whether the woman smokes kreteks (cigarettes made with a combination of tobacco, cloves, and other flavors).
Comparability
Apart from slight differences in question wording, TOKRETEK has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
Questions involving tobacco use are included in the standard DHS questionnaire beginning in Phase IV. TOKRETEK is included in the standard DHS questionnaire beginning in Phase VII.
