Description
VACBCGYRHFR reports the calendar year that children received the BCG vaccination as recorded on health facility records. These data were gathered by the field supervisor who visited the health facility to collect relevant vaccination records. Information was obtained from the health facility to complement the vaccination information based on the child's mother's recall.
The complementary variables VACBCGDAYHFR and VACBCGMOHFR report the day of the month and the month of the BCG vaccination, as recorded on health facility records.
To identify all young children who received the BCG vaccination, not just those whose vaccination records were obtained from a health facility, see VACBCGYR (H2Y).
