Description

GEO_BF2003 (V101_BF2003) indicates the region of Burkina Faso where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2003 Burkina Faso survey are equivalent to regions, with the capital representing an autonomous region.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There is also an integrated variable, GEO_BF2003_2010, that provides spatially consistent units over time.
