Description

GEO_HT1994 (V101_HT1994) indicates the region of Haiti where the respondent was interviewed. DHS regions in the 1994 Haiti survey are equivalent to regions.

These regions are non-mappable. There are no maps available in the DHS Spatial Data Repository.

Other samples have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are other integrated variables that provide spatially consistent regions over time. These include geo_ht2000_2016.
