Description

GEO_JO1997 (V101_JO1997) reports the region of Jordan where the respondent was interviewed. Geographic units in the 1997 Jordan survey constitute three very broad regions (North, Central, and South).

Other sample years for Jordan have their own sample-specific geography variables. The 1997 Jordan survey is also included in the integrated variable GEO_JO1997_2017, which provides spatially consistent units over time.
