Description

GEO_JO2012 (V101_JO2012) reports the region of Jordan where the respondent was interviewed. Geographic units in this variable are very broad regions (North, Central, and South).

Other sample years for Jordan have their own sample-specific geography variables. The 2012 Jordan sample was included in the integrated geographic variables GEO_JO1990_2017 (which excludes the 1997 and 2002 Jordan samples), GEO_JO1997_2017, and GEO_JO2007_2017 (which identifies individual governorates), all of which provide spatially consistent units over time.
