Description

GEO_SN2023 indicates the region of Senegal where the respondent was interviewed. DHS regions in the 2023 Senegal survey are equivalent to regions.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are also two integrated variables, GEO_SN1986_2023 and GEO_SN2005_2023, that provide spatially consistent units over different time periods.
