Description
GEO_TR1993_1998 indicates the region of Turkey where the respondent was interviewed. The variable is integrated to yield units with consistent boundaries across samples.
Labels identify the modern geographic units contained in each integrated region. Each sample also has its own non-integrated geography variable. The variable GEO_TR2003_2018 reports 5 different regions of Turkey. GEOALT_TR2003_2018 reports 12 NUTS1 regions.
