Description

FPEVUSIMP (V305_11) indicates whether the woman had ever used implants (such as Norplant) to delay or avoid a pregnancy.

Comparability

Apart from universe differences and minor differences in question wording, FPEVUSIMP (V305_11) is largely comparable across samples.

Some samples did not specifically ask about implants, but respondents could volunteer this method when asked about "any other methods."
