Description
AIDSINFOLECT indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the respondent reported lectures as a source of information on HIV/AIDS.
Comparability
Apart from universe differences and slight differences in question wording, AIDSINFOLECT is largely comparable across samples.
Comparability - Standard DHS
A question asking, "From which sources have you learned the most about AIDS? Any other sources?" is included in Phase III of the standard DHS questionnaire. AIDSINFOLECT is a country-specific response category.
