For women who are not currently using a contraceptive method, FPNONAF1 indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported a charity/foundation as a source of family planning. This response category is country-specific to Afghanistan.

FPNONAF1 has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
An open-ended question about where family planning can be obtained for women not currently using a method is included in Phase IV forward of the standard DHS questionnaire. FPNONAF1 is a country-specific response not included in the standard DHS modules.
