The related variable FPUSPLANMN indicates whether the male respondent intends on using contraception in the future and if so, when he intends to begin use.
The related variable FPUSPLANYRMN indicates whether the male respondent intends on using a contraceptive method to delay or avoid pregnancy in the next 12 months.
