Description
VACBCGDAYHFR reports the day of the month that children received the BCG vaccination, as recorded on their health facility record. These data were gathered by the field supervisor who visited the health facility to collect relevant vaccination records. Obtaining information from the health facility was intended to complement the vaccination information based on the child's mother's recall.
The complementary variables VACBCGMOHFR and VACBCGYRHFR report the calendar month and year of the BCG vaccination, as recorded on health facility records.
To identify the day of the month that all young children received the BCG vaccination, not just those cases where the vaccination records were obtained from a health facility, see VACBCGDAY (H2).
