Description
GEO_DR2002_2013 indicates the region of the Dominican Republic where the respondent was interviewed. The variable is integrated to yield units with consistent boundaries across samples.
Labels identify the modern geographic units contained in each integrated region. Each sample also has its own non-integrated geography variable. The variables GEO_DR1986_1999 and GEO_DR2002_2013 reports regions of the country but with different sets of boundaries. Variable GEO_DR2002_2007 provides greater detail in geography.
