Description

GEO_TR2018 (V101_TR2018) indicates the region of Turkey where the respondent was interviewed. DHS regions in the 2018 Turkey survey are equivalent to regions.

Other samples have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are other integrated variables that provide spatially consistent regions over time. These include geo_tr1993_1998 and geo_tr2003_2018.

Maps for the 2003, 2008, and 2018 samples do not appear in the DHS Spatial Data Repository.
