Description

GEO_VN2002 (V101_VN2002) indicates the region of Vietnam where the respondent was interviewed. DHS regions in the 2002 Vietnam survey are equivalent to regions.

"Project" and "Non-project" labels refer to the provinces that were targeted in the Population and Family Health Project of the Committee for Population, Family and Children.

GEO_VN2002 (V101_VN2002) is a country- and sample-specific variable and has no comparability issues.
