Description
For women who are not currently using a method of contraception, FPNONPRIVMOB (V3A00M) indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported a private mobile clinic as a source of family planning.
Users should be careful to distinguish this variable from FPNONPUBMOB, which refers to public sector mobile clinics.
Comparability
In addition to universe differences, the wording of this response category varies slightly across samples. Most commonly, this response option was categorized under a "private medical sector" header and was worded as "mobile clinic." As noted below, however, some samples diverged from this standard convention.
Comparability - Standard DHS
FPNONPRIVMOB (V3A00M) is included in the standard DHS questionnaire for Phases IV and V.
