Description

ATMW9 indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the woman reported a public health post/outreach as a place to be tested for the AIDS virus. This response category is country-specific to Malawi.

Although IPUMS-DHS integrates "public health post" (see ATPUBHP) across samples, ATMW9 is not included in that integrated variable because multiple sources are consolidated into a single category in ATMW9.
