Description

STIWITCH (V786I) indicates whether the woman reported "genital itching" as a possible symptom of STI (sexually transmitted infection) in women.

Comparability

Women who had not heard of sexually transmitted infections apart from AIDS were not asked about STI symptoms, and they were automatically coded under "No" in this series, unless otherwise noted in the comparability text below.
