Description

For women who have heard of female circumcision, FCYNCOMM indicates whether the respondent believes female circumcision is required by the community.

IPUMS-DHS users may be interested in a similar variable about whether the respondent believes female circumcision is required by traditions or customs (FCYNCUSTTRAD).
