Description
FPSTERCURMARDUR (V321A) reports the duration, in grouped years, of the womanâs current union at the time she or her partner was sterilized. Women who are currently single, who were sterilized before their current union, or who were married only once are coded 0. This variable is primarily useful for analyzing the subset of women who were married more than once and were sterilized.
The related variable FPSTERMARDUR (V321) reports the duration, in grouped years, of the womanâs first marriage at the time she or her partner was sterilized.
