Description
FPSTERILPROBE (V3A10) indicates whether the woman respondent or her partner are sterilized. Prior to DHS Phase 8, sterilization as a current method of family planning was captured by asking, âAre you or your partner currently doing something or using any method to delay or avoid getting pregnant? ⦠What method are you using?â with results recorded in FPMETHNOW (V312). FPSTERILPROBE inserts an additional set of questions-âAre you or your partner sterilized? If yes, who is sterilized, you or your partner?â-to capture this method of family planning.
