HCMSHOP (V762AS) indicates whether the woman reported a "shop" as a source for male condoms.
Some samples in the "HCM" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

The Zimbabwe 2010 survey has the same response categories, but the data keep these categories as separate variables. Because HCMSHOP focuses on all shops/retailers, these responses are consolidated in this variable to create a more comprehensive response category.
